Helping Hand Behavioral Health strives to provide a safe, stable, therapeutic environment for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders. We educate our clients on their particular substance use disorder, including those with mild to severe circumstances, chronic relapsers, and those struggling with the widespread epidemic of opiate addiction. Helping Hand offers three levels of care in our Addictions Programs: Outpatient Treatment, Intensive Outpatient & Partial Care.
Outpatient Program (OP) - Level 1/Relapse Prevention/Discovery Program
The Outpatient Program is designed to assist clients maintain abstinence by reinforcing relapse prevention skills and empowering individuals to utilize coping skills confidently. Outpatient clients may also participate in specific groups that are relative to their needs and treatment goals. Individual counseling is scheduled by appointment.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - Level 2.1
The Intensive Outpatient Program includes group therapy, individual counseling, and psychoeducational seminars for individuals that are returning to the community, new to recovery in an outpatient setting, or returning from a relapse. Evening hours are also available at our Egg Harbor Township location.
Partial Care Program (PCP) - Level 2.5
Partial Care is for individuals that are struggling with functioning day-to-day because of substance use or a co-occurring disorder. This highly structured program helps stabilize individuals that may be at risk for inpatient care while remaining in the community.
The goals of the program include: To educate on the disease of addiction, To assist clients in gaining relapse prevention skills, To assist clients in gaining a solid recovery network, To maintain abstinence through counseling and education, To maintain mental health by providing psychiatric evaluations, counseling, and medication monitoring as appropriate, To utilize evidence based practices, monitor outcomes, and foster quality assurance
