HomeBase is a structured living program providing transitional living assistance for young men age 16-20. The average length of stay is 6-18 months in a structured group home setting and/or up to one year in a supported apartment where they receive:
- individual, family, and group counseling
- education and employment assistance
- budgeting and money management
- life and social skills training
Through the program, young men have the opportunity to participate in community activities and to work together to support each other, encouraging them to care about themselves and others. The program also helps young men develop an independent living plan and set goals for a positive future. After graduating the program, CFS assists residents in obtaining their own housing.
