Rights of Passage (ROP) is a 12-18 month transitional living program that provides young men and women between 18 and 21 with the chance they need to make a life for themselves away from the street. The program is designed to provide young people with the tools they need in order to become self-sufficient, productive members of society. With the help of staff, mentors and volunteers, Rights of Passage residents are provided with educational and vocational opportunities and the skills needed to live on their own. Resident advisors facilitate life skills workshops on topics such as money management, cooking, building healthy relationships and improving self-esteem.
